Yes – An independent financial advisor is an advisor that is not tied to the proprietary products of one firm and/or not tied to minimum production requirements of one specific investment or insurance company.
We prefer to hold meetings on a face-to-face basis, but appreciate logistically this is not always possible, therefore we can also accommodate meetings on a remote basis. Our offices provide client parking and a private meeting room.
No, the initial discovery meeting is at our expense. Our process involves an initial discussion over the phone to ascertain your requirements and provide the opportunity to make your own assessment of our services, before committing to a meeting.
As part of or client onboarding process we will ask you to provide a summary of your personal and financial situation using an online portal, which includes an attitude to risk questionnaire.
Our costs are provided in the cost and charges document, available on request. Fees will depend on the complexity of your situation, and therefore the amount of work required. We will explain our fees in our initial meeting, and all fees will be discussed and agreed before any work is undertaken.
No, we do not provide advice in all areas, although we do have partnerships that we refer to for specialist advice.
